hi i really badly need help with an essay on gandhi. this essay is about his life and his religious belifes and what he was trying to get out of non violent protests. i need this quickly, thanks!!

what he really wanted was for brits to quit india, and he did this through non-violence: burning of the IDs in south africa, hunger strikes, the marches, etc. he respected the brits (having lived there and read law in london, i think) but he also wanted them to see that india deserved to be independent. he was raised a hindu but disliked the caste system and felt that as an indian, it didn't matter if one was moslem or hindu, and that people really believed in the same god deep inside.
