Teaching in Northern Ireland with a PGCE from England
Hi! I'm from Northern Ireland and I have offers for my PGCE from a few different universities in both England and in Northern Ireland.
I've heard a lot of rumours that it will be nearly impossible for me to find a job in Northern Ireland (which is the aim) if I study in England because schools in NI prefer you to have studied here. I don't know if this is true if anyone can help clear that up?
I want to go to England, mainly for the ITT bursary but if it is going to inhibit me getting a permanent teaching job here that's a different story.
