Oxford postgrad studies: Worth it to withdraw and reapply for college choice?

I'm an incoming Oxford graduate student from the US and wasn't familiar with the college system before applying. I was accepted to a college where I wasn't offered housing and have been reading about the more active MCRs and seemingly better physical and social spaces than mine.

I really wanted to join an active college community and am worried I won't have the 'Oxford experience' I was hoping for while living out.

Is it worth it to withdraw my application and acceptance and to apply again to my preferred college?

I personally think it’s ridiculous to decline an offer purely over the College. The College is as much or as little of your experience as you like. Your most important factor should be your department whose giving you your teaching and degree.
Plus there’s no guarantee you’d get readmission or be placed in a different college. Why risk your place?
