Postgrad Forensic Psychology Interview

Hello!

I've just gotten an interview date for the masters in Forensic Psychology and just wondered if anyone had any tips for how to prepare for the interview and what kind of questions they ask?

I have a bit of an idea from the course page/open day but want to be as prepared as possible

Thanks

Hello!

Congratulations on receiving your interview date. This is great news!

Whilst I can't give you a more in-depth answer on what sort of questions that would be asked in the interview, I can give some a little bit of information about what interviews will typically cover (this information is also available on the MSc Forensic Psychology course page on our website!):

Applicants' interests in forensic psychology

Knowledge of basic psychological theory and how this applied to forensic issues

Knowledge of research methods and ability to talk about previous research conducted (e.g. dissertation project).

I hope this gives you a bit more of an insight.

Wishing you the very best of luck for your interview!

Best wishes,
Olivia 😀
